MCSA currently has fifteen select teams ranging in age groups from U9 through U19, boys and girls. The teams compete around Northern California, allowing local athletes to play youth soccer at a highly competitive level vs clubs from around the region.
These club teams compete throughout Northern California with half their league games played out of town while home games are played Ukiah High School or Pomolita Middle School. Select teams are an exciting opportunity for players to play on a big stage and grow high-quality soccer players in our area.
These young athletes are being trained both on and off the field. While playing three days a week and traveling on some weekends for games, they must also show strong citizenship and academics. Our players are taught leadership, discipline, teamwork, commitment, and dedication. Furthermore, all players are taught the importance of physical activity, which creates healthier lifestyle choices and promotes lifelong activity - all attributes that will help them become better players, teammates, and people as they grow and develop.
