MCSA's six-week Grassroots Academy sessions are for children as young as four and old as eleven. The aim of these sessions is to ensure the first soccer experiences of every child are positive and memorable.
We practice 2-3 days per week. Outside of scrimmages, there are no official games. We're looking to introduce the basics of the game and instill a life-long passion for soccer during this time.
With an enthusiastic and age-appropriate teaching model, MCSA’s staff teaches the skills needed to play and fall in love with the sport.
Grassroots Academy is lots of fun games such as Lions on the Loose, Red Stop Green Go, Ice Monsters, and more. Every kid has a ball, no lines, no laps, fun only!
We develop creative young players who become ‘master artists’ of the soccer ball during these 6-week sessions.
We run sessions throughout the year in Ukiah, Willits, and Mendocino.
At the end of the six weeks, all first time will earn their "wings" and receive an MCSA practice jersey!
