Director of Coaching :  Shane Huff 

Shane holds a USSF National B license, NSCAA Advanced National License, and a USYSF National Youth License. He is the current Head Coach of both the Men's and Women’s Soccer programs at Mendocino College.  He has also coached at NCCA Division I and Division II programs:  CSU Bakersfield, Fort Lewis College- Durango and the University of New Mexico.  Shane also has a Master’s Degree in exercise science and sports administration. Wherever Shane has gone, he has developed successful youth teams and developed individual players to be their best!

Associate Coaching Director:  Joe Munoz 

Joe has developed a tremendous resume during his soccer career and brings a wealth of playing experience. Joe was two time All-American and National Player of the Year at CSU Bakersfield. He has won 3 National Championships in his career: 2 for the Semi-Professional Central Coast Roadrunners and one during his senior year at CSU-Bakersfield in 1997. In 1998, he was drafted and signed by Major League Soccer with the New York/New Jersey Metrostars, now known as the New York Redbulls. He then continued to play professionally/semi professionally with the Chico Rooks while attaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Joe is staff member of UVMC Rehabilitative Services. He is an assistant coach of Women’s Soccer at Mendocino College. 

Executive Director:  Naomi Rhodes 

Naomi was a local standout and graduate of Ukiah High School, where she was a four-year player on the Women’s Varsity team. Naomi continued her academic/athletic career at the University of Oregon, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Spanish, and was a member of the school’s NCAA Division 1 Women's Soccer team and club team. Naomi also holds a Master's Degree in counseling from Sonoma State University.  She is an assistant coach of Women’s Soccer at Mendocino College.

Director of Player Development:  Jeremiah Heim
Jeremiah has been actively coaching youth soccer in Mendocino County for 5 years, he carries a level VI youth diploma from the NSCAA, a D national coaching license from the USSF and is working on completing his C national. Jeremiah is the founder and director of the competitive player development program on the Mendocino Coast, Mendo United and has successfully helped players reach their goals of playing at the next level. Jeremiah is actively pursuing his academic education at Mendocino College for his AA with the goal of continuing on the Sonoma State for BA.  At age 39, Jeremiah, earned his spot on the first ever men’s soccer team and conference champions at Mendocino College. He brings commitment, dedication and leadership with a focus on player development. Jeremiah’s cultural upbringing and diverse life experience, brings a great perspective of development to the youth of our program and communities. Stead fast in his belief that individual self expression on the pitch, transitions into confidence off the pitch and in life, as soccer is an art and the players are the artists.
